AT&T slashes the price of the Nokia Lumia 1020 to $99.99 with a two-year contract for both existing and new customers.
Here’s a special deal for AT&T and new customers; you can pick up the AT&T Nokia Lumia 1020 for $99.99 with a new two-year contract.
Amazon.com is running a special deal on the 41-MP cameraphone with a two-year contract, reducing the price to just $99.99. Now, AT&T has also followed in their steps and lowered the price from $299.99 to a much more affordable $99.99 on contract. Off contract price has also dropped to $639.99 from the higher $659. All three colors, including matte yellow, matte black and matte white qualify.
It’s not unusual price drop as the carrier is all set to release the new Windows Phone flagship, Lumia 1520 starting on November 22nd, along with Lumia 2520 – Windows 8.1 RT tablet.
The Lumia 1020 originally launched for $299 – seemingly higher than usual price — in late July. Now, nearly four months out and the price drop should make the 1020 much more affordable to those who were considering it.
Will the reduced price attract more customers? It’s unclear at this time though the criticism that the price of Lumia 1020 is too high can now be dismissed. The deal is available for online orders and comes with free shipping, so it’s worth checking out.
At the same time, AT&T is running a similar promotion, in which you can bag the Lumia 1520 for just $99.99. These deals are limited time offers till the stocks last.
