Gold HTC One, one of the most anxiously awaited smartphones according to many, will be coming to Europe soon.
The latest trend in the world of smartphones, is surprisingly not an exciting new feature on the market, in fact it’s the color, Gold or Champagne.
Ever since Apple unveiled the iPhone 5S and confirmed its intention of adding a gold color for its leading iPhone, the gold variant has been the highest demanded and the most difficult to catch.
HTC on the other hand presumed that people actually like to carry gold colored phones and didn’t really consider the possibility that some people only bought gold iPhones to stand out in the crowd.
Therefore, HTC transcribed this little trick in its book and announced that it will be offering the world’s best Android smartphone, HTC One in the new favorite gold color. HTC will release the new gold HTC One across Europe with a number of carriers.
Phillip Blair, the president of EMEA, said in a press release that with the success of the HTC 18 carat gold MOBO phone, they are excited to have developed a gold device of their own and offering yet more choice to consumers.
HTC announced yet another gold HTC One smartphone, except this phone will not have the generous 18 carat gold electroplating. The Original 18 carat golden boy was awarded as the grand prize for the Best Newcomer Category winner on the 18th anniversary of the MOBO Awards.
Apart from the new color option, the phone comes with a 4.7 inch 1080p super LCD 3 full HD display. Powered by a 1.7GHz quod core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, the phone includes 2GB of RAM internal memory storage, which ensures things run smoothly.
The phone will be shipping with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean; however an update to KitKat will be made available in the future. Along with the HTC UltraPixel rear camera, the phone sports a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera. Both the cameras can record HD video.
HTC’s wireless connectivity options comprise of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and 4G LTE radio. The phone also includes dual front-facing stereo speakers along with the HTC BoomSound and a built-in IR port which allows you to change your smartphone into a universal remote control.
So far, HTC hasn’t mentioned about any plans to ship the new gold HTC One to the United States. However, it has announced of carrying a voyage across European countries.
With the new Gold colored HTC One, the company is likely to gain more attention and attract more users. An update for the 4.4 KitKat version will be soon made available to the Gold HTC One. Besides the new color, everything else about the phone remains the same.
