There’s been a lot of talk over the last few days with regards to both the Xbox One and PS4 being out of stock in many retail outlets. That was true, however it seems that both consoles are now back in stock for tech-hungry consumers to purchase in the run-up to Christmas.
Let’s talk about Microsoft’s offering first. The Xbox One is now available to purchase at Amazon and BestBuy, who will be offering up a bundle with the console. This will include offerings of either Call of Duty Ghosts at $559.98 respectively, or a 12- Month Xbox Live Gold Membership.
As for the Sony, it has been confirmed by Walmart that they will be stocking the PS4 this Sunday, but in a limited number. Starting Friday, the retailer has dropped prices on popular toys, electronics, apparel, table games and other products during its Christmas Countdown Savings Event.
In addition, two days later, on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 8:00 am, Walmart’s largest shipment of the PlayStation 4– one of the most coveted gifts of the season – will arrive at stores across the country, just in time for Christmas. Walmart.com will also have a limited quantity of PlayStation 4 inventory available while supplies last.
Both the PS4 and Xbox One have received an amazing response, with over two million units sold around the world so far. Both consoles were hyped many months before their launches, being among the most wanted Christmas gifts this year. It’s obviously going to be pleasing for a lot of people that they’re now back in stock. Just a tip though: don’t get into the habit of late Christmas shopping.
