‘The calm before the storm’: Experts say gas prices will begin rising again, $5 a gallon is possible – PennLive

The average price for a gallon of gas in Pennsylvania has been steady at $4.76 a gallon for almost a week.
After hitting the highest average ever of $4.77 a gallon on May 22, prices have stabilized but Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy said yesterday in Twitter, “This week could see the national average surge 5-12c/gal. This is your warning – today is the calm before the storm.”
