With 2021 in the history books, it’s time for a comprehensive list of the twenty most popular phones of the past year. These were the device you searched for the most on our site and the ones that shaped how the year went by. As usual, there’s a clear-cut leader in terms of total devices on the list and it’s none other than Samsung (shocker, we know). A total of four manufacturers contributed to the list this year which is one less than last year‘s index.
Samsung’s Galaxy A-series and S-series phones piled on the hits with 9 out of 20 devices in the list, or exactly 45% of the total. The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G which is arguably the year’s top flagship got the most interest and was joined by the Galaxy S21+ and the vanilla Galaxy S21. The Galaxy A72, A52 and A32 in both their 4G and 5G trims also made the list.
Xiaomi is sending out an equally impressive year with a total of 8 phones on the list. The Redmi Note 10 Pro got the most hits of all phones here while the Poco X3 Pro and F3 also made their way on the top 20. The flagship Mi 11 Ultra and midrange Mi 11 Lite also got your attention as did the Redmi 9T and Note 10S.
OnePlus 9 Pro and Nord 2 5G cracked the top 20 and it wouldn’t be a top list without an iPhone – the 13 Pro Max was your most searched for phone from Apple’s camp. Check out the full list below and sound off which was your favorite phone of 2021 in the comments.
