Samsung’s Galaxy S5 is still making its way to the market, featuring WQHD display, fingerprint reader and 16MP camera.
The latest round of rumors from @evleaks suggest Samsung is about to please everyone who will be buying a phone named the Galaxy S5.
The Galaxy S5 has already been rumored and is almost inevitable even before its official appearance next month. This time, the tipster revealed some interesting details such as the official branding of the Galaxy S5 and some tech specs.
Through two APKs namely 3DTourViewer_WQHD_K.apk and FingerprintService.apk, @evleaks confirms the Galaxy S5 will have a WQHD display that has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels; and a fingerprint reader.
Earlier, such APKs were linked to the Galaxy Note 3, but we found them just a hoax. Though, these confirmations aren’t absolute, but the noble leaked doesn’t often go wrong in these cases.
One last photo published, is a test photo from Samsung Galaxy S5 for Verizon (model number SM-G900V). For a recap, the next flagship phone from the South Korean house will boast a 16-megapixel sensor.
However, the above photo doesn’t say anything, but its EXIF data seems to hide something very interesting.
FYI, Dong-hoon Chang, the vice president of design strategy at the helm of Samsung has already confirmed the arrival of the Galaxy S5 at Mobile World Congress 2014, to be held during February 25 to 27 in Barcelona, Spain.
So be sure to check out the event next month. We will also be covering the event for you, so stay tuned.
