After the overwhelming success of the LG Nexus 4, it seems that the company will now bring to you the successor to this popular device – the LG Nexus 5. Even though there has been no official announcement about the LG Nexus 5 from the company, rumors indicate that we will soon see this device making its way to the consumer market.
The point to note here is that LG is not the only manufacturer that might be working on the Nexus 5. The rumors say that Google is currently working with a number of manufacturers to come up with the next Nexus smartphone, the Nexus 5. One of these manufacturers happen to be LG who was the same company who made the Nexus 4. As we already know, Google is always very careful in selecting the manufacturers for its products and at the same time emphasizes a lot on quality. The company has always had high expectations and we have seen that in the case of Google and Motorola as well.
If the rumors are true, then we might actually get to see this smartphone by the month of October this year. The project seems to be in progress under the codename Megalodon. This Nexus 5 smartphone is said to have a 5.2-inch full HD 1080p display. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz processor, 3 GB of RAM and high storage capacity. The device will also have a 16 MP primary camera by OmniVision. This camera will be able to record 4K resolution videos at 30 FPS and 1080p videos at 60 FPS. It will also have a very powerful battery with a capacity of 3300 mAh. The smartphone might also have a lot of surprises like gesture controls and many other features.
These features are definitely impressive as the smartphone seems to have a very high speed processor and 3 GB of RAM which has never been seen in a smartphone till date. We hope that we get to see the Nexus 5 soon. Stay in touch and we will update you when we have something new.
