LG sent members of the media invites to an event in Seoul, South Korea next week, where the company is expected to unveil the G Pro 2.
After many rumors and alleged appearance, the release date of the new Android phablet, LG G Pro 2 is near. LG has begun sending an invitation to its “Knock-knock knockin’ on” event, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 13 (10:30am – 01:00pm local time) at LG Twin Towers, Seoul, South Korea.
To no surprise, LG doesn’t say exactly what they have plans to show at the event. The theme of invitation is “Knock-knock knockin’ on” that makes a clear reference to the KnockOn function, which you will find on-board with the much-talked LG’s G Pro 2.
For a recap, we remind you that it won’t be the successor of the G2, instead, the G3 would be coming in a few months. According to reports, the phone-cum-tablet is expected to feature a 5.9-inch FullHD display with a very thin bezel and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The G Pro 2 will reportedly boast a 13-megapixel rear camera with “OIS Plus” that will allow you to capture 4K video, just like Sony’s Xperia Z2. As you would have thought it will run Android 4.4 KitKat on board.
We will have more details on what’s expected in the coming days. Tune into Inferse.com next Thursday for all the news as it breaks.
