Samsung has published a complete list of Galaxy smartphones and tablets, which will be receiving the official update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat in coming days.
Samsung USA has made an official statement to confirm the availability of Android 4.2.2 KitKat update for several Galaxy devices.
They have shared a complete list of Galaxy smartphones and tablets that will be getting the update very soon, in fact, a few of them are already getting it. The list can be considered for Europe, Middle-East and Asia, although, the readiness of KitKat update can vary region-to-region and operators.
In the United States, the rollout process has already been begun. In addition to features those offered by the stock version Android 4.4 KitKat, the package includes a menu that allows you quickly access GPU and Wi-Fi configuration as well as Internet settings; the ability to opt for the native Messages app and Google Hangout for SMS and MMS; and auto-backup of videos, photos and files on Google Drive.

However, no exact release dates have been mentioned, but as always, as soon as an official update is available for download and installation, a notification appears on the display of your smartphone or tablet. You can also check for updates manually following: Go to the “Settings” menu, scroll down to “About phone” (or “About tablet”) and tap on “System Updates”.
