Samsung has released the first official teaser video of the “Next GALAXY” that will likely arrive on February 24 at UNPACKED event in Barcelona, Spain.
The video consists of stills and short clips which suggests the next flagship smartphone by Samsung will be water-resistant.
In addition, it highlights some aspects of daily life signaling a few features of the Galaxy S5. For example: the ‘dad5’ and ‘family5’ suggest that the device may actually include some new features and functions dedicated to family; the ‘speed5’ refers to the next-gen Exynos processor and perhaps 64-bit to go toe-to-toe with the iPhone 5S; the ‘focus5’ and ‘moment5’ hints an improved camera compared to its predecessors; the ‘selfie5’ is the sign of a front-facing camera with flash and so forth.
One of the most interesting features, however, comes from the term ‘wet5’ which should speak of the waterproof features (and perhaps anti-dust) that have already been severed by some rivals such as Sony.
