MWC 2014: PayPal for Samsung Galaxy Gear 2


At the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, PayPal has announced a dedicated app for the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2, innovating the mobile payments on smartwatch.

With PayPal app, one can easily make and receive mobile payments without carrying bulky and uncomfortable smartphone.

You can also make payments in shops, save and redeem offers, transfer money to friends and receive real-time payment notifications through the app. The functions are simple, and above all, it’s safe too, thanks to the PayPal platform.

With the debut of this new payment platform, PayPal and eBay seem to do a lot in the future of mobile payments. Last year, eBay launched an app designed for the first-gen Samsung smartwatch, which allows buyers to purchase and sell items on the go through one of the biggest online auction site. And now the duo of apps can be used on the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 for complete shopping experience.

The news for PayPal doesn’t end here, however, we may get to know the future plans of the giant online payment platform during the Mobile World Congress 2014.
