Sony has finally begun rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean over the air (OTA) updates for the Xperia M. The update will hit devices gradually worldwide.
Good news for Sony Xperia M owners, the Japanese manufacturer has started rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the Xperia M including some enhancements to multimedia apps. The package comes with build 15.4.A.0.23 that will reach all territories in next few days.
As usual, the update is available an Over-The-Air update, you just need to check the availability of the update by going to Settings > About phone > Software updates > System updates or you can also download the update using the Sony PC Companion app. However, Android 4.3 isn’t the latest version mobile operating system (Android 4.4.2 KitKat), but Sony has promised to provide support to medium-low end devices.

For a quick recap, Sony Xperia M was initially launched with Android 4.1. The Xperia M comes with 4-inch screen with a resolution of 854×480, dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal storage along with support for microSD card up to 32GB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It also packs a 5-megapixel camera with Exmor RS with LED flash on the back, a front-facing VGA camera for making video calls.
