Good news for Sony Xperia M owners, the Japanese manufacturer has started rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the Xperia M including some enhancements to multimedia apps. The package comes with build 15.4.A.0.23 that will reach all territories in next few days.

As usual, the update is available¬†an Over-The-Air update, you just need to check the availability of the update by going to Settings > About phone > Software updates > System updates or you can also download the update using the Sony PC Companion app. However, Android 4.3 isn’t the latest version mobile operating system¬†(Android 4.4.2 KitKat), but Sony has promised to provide support to medium-low end devices.

For a quick recap, Sony Xperia M was initially launched with Android 4.1. The Xperia M comes with 4-inch screen with a resolution of 854×480, dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal storage along with support for microSD card up to 32GB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It also packs a 5-megapixel camera with Exmor RS with LED flash on the back, a front-facing VGA camera for making video calls.
