There have been reports from trusted sources inside Samsung which say that the OEM is planning to upgrade certain devices in the Samsung Galaxy series to the new Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie operating system. If this report is true, then we might soon be able to use high end Samsung smartphones that run on the latest Android 5.0 operating system.

The report said that the Galaxy Series devices that will most probably get the update including the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S3, the Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Note 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 10.1. This new version, Android 5.0 operating system which is named as Key Lime Pie is said to be unveiled by Google at the Google I/O event later this year.

The good point is that even though Samsung is concentrating on all these new devices, the company has also taken care of all its older devices.
