Xolo has unveiled Play 8X-1100 gaming device to Indian market for Rs 14,999, following up the launch of the Q700s Plus and Q1000s at authorized retail outlets.
Xolo offers a new mobile gaming device with the debut of the Play 8X-100, their latest offering to the growing world of gaming, just a day after launching the Q700s Plus and Q1000sPlus.
The Xolo Play 8X-1100 joins the company’s list of Play series smartphones. Among the other existing gadgets already in the list include the Play 6X-1100 and the 8X-1200. The Play 6X-100 runs on a hexa-core processor while the 8X-1200 banks on an octa-core processor.
Among the notable features that the Xolo Play 8X-1100 has to offer include that of being a dual-SIM device that runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. Aside from that, the Play 8X-1100 will also boast of a 5-inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
For the power, the device will rely on a 1.7 GHz octa-core processor, backed up by 2 GB of RAM and a 700 MHz Mali 450 GPU. As far as storage capacity is concerned, the Play 8X-1100 will have 16 GB of built-in storage. If that is not enough for potential users, the device comes with a microSD card slot which can give them an additional 32GB of storage space.
The Xolo Play 8X-1100 will also come with a 13 MP rear camera that comes powered by a Sony Exmor RS sensor with LED flash. It also has a front-facing 5MP camera that has a BI-sensor and a wide 88-degree viewing angle capability.
The Play 8X-100 offers a wide array of connectivity options as well since it comes with 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, OTG, NFC and Bluetooth. Providing the necessary power for it will be a 2100 mAh battery.
The Xolo Play 8X-1100 is listed at Rs. 14,999 (approximately about $250) and is available in black and white colors. No word yet on whether the Xolo Play 8X-1100 would be made available outside India.
