Motorola just announced its new Android phones, the Moto G (an inexpensive version) and the flagship Moto X.
While the premium handset will on sale later this month, the Moto G is now available in India through Flipkart, priced at Rs. 12,999.00. Confirming our sources’ reports, more than 50,000 units have been shipped to the country to avoid any stock wipeout situation. So hurry up if you want to bag a budget-friendly phone.
With the same branding, the second-gen Moto G gets a significant bump in specs. The dual-SIM smartphone features a 5-inch IPS LCD HD display with a resolution 720 x 1280 pixels and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It equips a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of main memory, and runs Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) on board. For your music and video stuff, the phone comes with 16GB of internal storage and a microSD slot (up to 32GB).

Camera-wise, the Moto G, packs an 8MP main camera and a 2MP front-facing sensor. The battery is still the same as on the first-gen of Moto G (2070 mAh Li-Ion). With all standard media features, the handset weighs 149g and measures 70.7×141.5×10.99 mm. In connectivity, the phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB 2.0, 3.5 audio jack and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Moto G is available in two colors i.e. black and white. Besides, Motorola also introduced the much-awaited Moto 360 smartwatch, however, the release date along with pricing details are yet to be announced.
