Huawei is preparing to launch – the Mate 50 series and the Chinese tech maker has brought in some new improvements to possibly stand up against – Apple iPhone 14. Although, Huawei has its own challenges in the smartphone industry bu the Chinese tech maker is gradually resolving them.
Recently, a tipster from Weibo has shared some light on the upcoming Huawei Mate 50 Pro and how it’s gonna be the next Mate series flagship. Huawei Mate 50 Pro will come with an XMAGE camera imaging system, and it’ll be the first device to do so.
However, Apple has its own expertise, and iPhones clearly reflect that perfection in the launch event. It’s worth mentioning that the CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group Business himself said that Apple and Huawei would be the only two smartphone market leaders if there weren’t the U.S. sanctions on Huawei.
Still to remember that a smartphone’s strength cannot be measured in only one aspect, of which, it could perform better in terms of camera. Therefore, Huawei phones have signified their performance and hardware prowess since the launch of its early flaghip devices.

The Mate 50 Pro is no exception to this theory, as the tipster further adds that Huawei wants to reshape the popularity of the Mate 20 series, which has been the most sold Mate device ever. Also, the launch of the Mate 50 series will mark the return of the notch in the lineup.
With this launch, Huawei aimed to shoot stars and almost reached the goal. The company has introduced Huawei ID on the front side of the Mate 20 Pro inside a notch, a feature that has been adopted by in iPhone 10 series. Later, it became the mainstream reality of the next iPhones.
iPhones are also known for their power efficiency and the performance that they boast with the Bionic chipset. Such a combination is nowhere to match among Android phones. Yet, Huawei’s own chipset – Kirin has been quite successful in any OEM or whatsoever to bring a new edge to Mate devices.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has been packed with Kirin 980 and it had a design that is loved by the consumers. On the other hand, it has the first smartphone that made an entry into the global market – Huawei Mate 20 X 5G.

Why Huawei Mate 20 Pro? Because the later version – Mate 30 Pro and Mate 40 Pro has been just experimental builds. Yet the upcoming Huawei Mate 50 Pro is likely to give a combined technology and software experience – ‘Extracted’ from these three generations – Mate 20 Pro, Mate 30 Pro, and the Mate 40 Pro.
Currently, Huawei has not revealed any details regarding the launch of the Mate 50 series but previous reports reveal that the phone could launch in September. On the other side, we’ll wait to see what Huawei Mate 50 Pro brings up to fight against iPhone 14, which will also launch around the same time slot.

The tipster has recently updated his assumption on the Huawei Mate 50 series launch date, which assumes that the flagship lineup will unveil on September 7. On the other hand, Huawei has not confirmed any launch event for Mate 50 series on September 7 but the warm-up will start ahead of the official unveiling.

Original Story:

Huawei Mate 50 series and its launch is undoubtedly the new hot topic of discussion among consumers. So far, we came across a bunch of headlines related to when the flagship model will showcase its first look to the eagerly waiting users. And looks like, the company could bring up the device somewhere in the middle of September.
Previously, we reported that due to some unknown reasonings, the Chinese tech giant has delayed the launch date of the Huawei Mate 50 series till September. Yet, at that time, we didn’t have a base to rely upon. But at present, a new tipster has appeared with some confirmation regarding the release of the Mate 50 lineup.
According to Weibo blogger @WangzaiIshitong, the high-end Huawei Mate 50 smartphone series will come into existence on September 12. Notably, this is the same day, when the super-agile and frisky AITO M5 EV launch event will take place.

This also hints that Huawei might conduct a new launch event in September. Once again, we might be able to see some of the thrilling elements on the consumer platform. For instance, Mate 50 handsets, stable HarmonyOS 3.0, M5 EV, and who knows what else. But, an official stamp over the hearsay is still awaited.

Not Just One, But Three Models to come!

Huawei has offered several goodies-like products to its consumers. This time also, the company has packed not just one, but three models to line up in front of its fans. As per the reports, the Mate 50 series will exhibit three gigantic handsets including the standard Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, and of course, the Porsche Design.
The Chinese manufacturer always provides new strategies for its products. Consequently, with Mate 50, we will find a new definition for the term – photography. Things aren’t clear about the new traits of the flagship device. But there is a surety that this device will uplift the overall segments of the smartphone to the next level.

Huawei has recently introduced the latest version of HarmonyOS to its users. The new operating system has brought a huge packet of interesting and thoughtful features. However, something more interesting than these features could be an all-new under-display camera phone from Huawei.
It’s not the first time when Huawei gets linked with the term under-display. Over the past few months, Huawei has issued several patents to bring on the respective technology to its devices. Even we heard that Huawei Mate 40 Pro could be the model to appear with an under-display camera. Yet, things never came out as reality.
But, it looks like there are possibilities to see this technology soon. While exploring the promotional video of HarmonyOS 3.0, we find the clue-prints of the mentioned in-display mechanism. Consequently, the video represented a new phone with under-display camera automation.

New phone – similar to P50 Pocket?

On having a careful look, we found the device quite similar to the flip-flop model- Huawei P50 Pocket. Notably, the device showcases the fingerprint module at the side edges. Further, the sides of the phone roughly display the white under-lens marks.

The rear lens structure of the device comprises two giant circular frames, which is again similar to the P50 Pocket. Although, there could be chances to see some more new implements and changes on the device, in the nearing future.

Speaking of the front face, the display screen does not feature any punch holes or notch at the head of the gadget. Instead, it shows a true full-screen face with an under-display mini cam lens for selfie purposes.
Things are wandering under the airy fog for the moment. But it will get clear in the time ahead. And who knows, we might see this amazing tech in the Mate 50 series launch event.

Launched last December, Huawei P50 Pocket is a foldable smartphone that features a 6.9-inch OLED panel. It came with pre-installed HarmonyOS 2.0 for the home ground users and EMUI 12 for the global market. The device sports a triple rear camera consisting of a 40MP primary shooter, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and 32MP wide snapper. Again, the front side captures a 10.7MP lens for clicking selfies.

Huawei has rolled up its sleeves to introduce the new member of the Mate family – the Mate 50 series. No doubt, the device will come into the spotlight with a bunch of eye-catching features and attributes. While the company is still dealing with some internal processes for the respective handset, a new report suggests that Huawei Mate 50 series will appear with 4 new models and 2 processors.
According to the post of Weibo blogger @wangzaiIshitong, the Chinese tech giant will organize a huge launch conference for the explosive Huawei Mate 50 series and will introduce 4 new models with two new processors. Alongside, the tipster also mentions that this event will organize on September 7.
Well, that contradicts two major reports regarding the Mate 50 series. Recently, a digital blogger reported that the Huawei Mate 50 series will take place on the consumer platform on September 12. But now it looks like, the Chinese manufacturer is trying to lessen the time gap between the Huawei fans and the first glance of the ultimate smartphone models.

Not three, but four new models are arriving!

Thereafter, we also heard that Mate 50 lineup includes three models. Although, wangzai post drags our attention to the fourth model which is none other than the Mate 50e. Thus, instead of just three, we may find four new members of the Mate 50 lineup, sharing the same stage on September 7.

However, users must note that the Mate 50e smartphone will not stand in the main product line. This means that only the standard Mate 50, the Mate 50 Pro, and the unique Mate 50 RS Porsche Edition, will serve as the flagship variants in the market. Moreover, the Mate 50 series will no more exhibit the waterfall display as it was on previous Pro variants of Mate 30 and Mate 40.
Alternatively, this also indicates that the Mate 50e handset could step into the customer’s ground as a mid-range device. Yet, we are expecting the company, to flash some light on this aspect before the official launch conference.

Two Standard Processors

Apart from the statement of four new models, the blogster has also broached two Snapdragon chipsets in his post. As per the info, the Mate 50e will deploy with the Snapdragon 778G processor. While all the other flagship versions will power the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G version – SM8425.
What is the difference between these two chipsets? You can check it, below.
