Microsoft/Nokia Lumia 830 will be out in India sometime in October and cost about Rs. 26000.
There’re no words on the Lumia 930 availability in India, though the flagship was announced during BUILD 2014 conference, a couple of months ago. But the recently unveiled Lumia 830 is all set to make its way to India sometime in October.
According to IBN, Microsoft has plans to launch the device about Rs. 26000 (Approx. $430) next month.
Microsoft Mobile has taken a different tack with the Lumia 830 dubbed as the “most affordable flagship.” The Lumia flagships were criticized for having high price tags, so it seems like the company is listening to its critics.
Specs-wise, the Nokia Lumia 830 is a true successor of the 820 and has a bump of improvements. The display is slightly bigger, at 5.0 inches (1280 x 720 pixels), and the rear PureView camera has been bumped from 8.7MP to 10MP. It inherits the design from the Lumia 930, more precisely the 830 is a less powerful Lumia 930.
The 830 packs a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM, has 16GB of internal storage on-board with microSD expansion that can hold up to 128GB of data more. The phone is one of the latest Lumias that runs the Lumia Denim update out-of the box, and powered by 2200 mAh battery that delivers 14.8 hours of talk time on 3G network and up to 22 days of standby time. With standard connectivity options and sensors, the 830 also features built-in Wireless charging, unlike the 820.
