Samsung Galaxy Note 4 arrives in UK, preorders open now

Samsung has finally made the Galaxy Note 4 device available for purchase in the UK after a setback caused the device to suffer from a week-long delay. The Samsung UK website has added a product page.

Carriers are also behind the proverbial 8-ball when it comes to the Galaxy Note 4 though, as well. In fact, two major carriers are not listing the device yet on their websites respectively. O2 and Vodafone have both failed to update their websites with the availability of the Samsung smartphone, making many wonder if they currently have the devices to launch.

Pricing right now seems to vary depending on where you’re purchasing the device. The price ranges from £15 with a contract to £629 without a contract and unlocked. That said, the device appears to be thoroughly worth it.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 packs impressive components on the inside, as well as the outside. The device has an aluminum frame that even feels sturdy in addition to simply being sturdy. It has the capability of adding storage in a form of microSD card. The smartphone also offers a boosted charging system. Just thirty minutes really can make a difference. A quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor pushing out 2.7GHz of “under the hood” power, will make any task manageable, and from top to bottom – this is a device that many have waited for.

At this point though, it’s unclear why the wait has continued this long for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 fans in the UK, but either way – Samsung is going to want to speed the process up in terms of getting the device in user’s hands unless it wants to continue bleeding customers.

Globally, this has been a problem for the company as they continue to lose market share to other devices, and gain no ground on Apple iPhone. On paper, and even in practice, at least for the professional, this device is better than the iPhone 6, but customers will not wait forever for a device that is dragging its way across the finish line.

It’s expected that by the end of the day all carriers in the UK will have the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 available online.
