Samsung Galaxy S3 price slashes as Galaxy S4 release nears

The arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S4 has opened up new markets for the Samsung Galaxy S3. Thanks to the new Galaxy S4, carrier companies are now cutting down the prices on the Samsung Galaxy S3. So now even consumers with a lower budget will be able to get their hands on the Galaxy S3.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available in the market starting from the month of April. To be more specific, this next-gen flagship device of the company is all set to enter the consumer market on the 26th of April as previously announced. It is but obvious that the spotlight will now shift from the Galaxy S3 to the Galaxy S4. A majority of the high end consumers will now opt for the Samsung Galaxy S4, ultimately leaving the Samsung Galaxy S3 on the shelves if the companies continue to offer this smartphone at the same price as last year.

But that definitely is not the case! The Samsung Galaxy S3, which according to us is still one of the best smartphones in the market is now available with huge discounts. Every major carrier company in the United States is taking this opportunity and trying to offer the Galaxy S3 at a rate that almost every consumer can afford.

AT&T has started offering the Samsung Galaxy S3 at a retail price of $99.99 along with a two-year contract. Previously this same smartphone was offered for a price of $199.99, indicating that AT&T is now offering a discount of $100.

By the way, AT&T is not the only carrier to have attractive offers for the Galaxy S3. Every other carrier will soon announce their offers in which the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be available at low and attractive prices.

Once again, thanks to the Galaxy S4, we might soon get to see a majority of the consumers in the market using the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy S3. Mid-segment consumers will finally be able to get their hands on the smartphone that won the ‘Best smartphone of the year 2012’ award.
