Microsoft has launched the dual-SIM Lumia 535 at Rs. 9,199 in India, its first mobile after rebranding Nokia Lumia as Microsoft Lumia.
After unveiling the Lumia 535 earlier this month, Microsoft has announced the first Lumia phone without Nokia label in India. The company added that dual-SIM L535 will be available at a price of Rs. 9,199.
Being touted as “5 x 5 x 5” smartphone, it is not only a true successor of Lumia 530 but also surpasses the Lumia 630 specs-wise. The Lumia 535 comes with 5-inch qHD display, 5MP front-facing and primary camera, and 5 free Microsoft services on the board such as Skype, OneNote, Office, OneDrive and Cortana.
The Microsoft Lumia 535 sports a 5.0-inch qHD touch screen (960 x 540 pixels), 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with microSD card slot (expandable up to 128GB), 5MP main camera with LED flash, 5MP wide-angle selfie camera (capable to record 1080p video). The headset comes with Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim SW update pre-installed, which enables the long-awaited Cortana voice assistant (English UK) as a beta in the region.
The Windows phone is 3G only phone with no LTE capability and packs a 1905mAh battery with 11 hours talk time, according to specs sheet. It measures 140.2 x 72.4 x 8.8 mm and weighs 146g.
The Lumia 535 comes in two models – single SIM and Dual SIM. The dual-SIM variant will be available in bright green, bright orange, white, dark grey, cyan and black across the country starting November 28th while the single-SIM model’s availability is still not clear.
