And the Game of the Year award goes to Dragon Age: Inquisition (+video)

Dragon Age: Inquisition won Game of the Year honors at this years’ Game Awards which were held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The game was published by Electronic Arts and was produced by BioWare. It won the game as a role playing game, and as it claimed the top spot became one of the best successes that Electronic Arts had seen to date. The win was a surprise to some as BioWare’s game beat out Dark Souls II, Hearthstone, Bayonetta 2 and Middle-eart: Shadow of Mordor. The game though won, deservedly, due to the narrative that really evolved the game, and the combat that was impressive to say the very least.

Here are the list of complete honors that were issued during the livestreamed event that was broadcasted on Twitch – as an alternative to Spike TV – who hosted the VGA’s last year.
