Microsoft is continuing to push the most popular Windows Phone, the Lumia 520 by lowering the price tag to $29 – sans contract.
Both Microsoft Store and Amazon show the AT&T Lumia 520 selling for $70 less than its regular price of $99. The phone is being sold contract-free, which means that you are not bounded with the usual two-year service agreement and can upgrade to another AT&T phone anytime.
For a quick note, the Nokia Lumia 520 comes with a 4-inch WVGA display (800 x 480), 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 512 MB RAM, 5MP main camera with auto focus, 8GB of internal storage with no microSD expansion and runs Windows Phone 8 (WP 8.1 upgrade now available).
In addition, the Windows phone weighs 124g only and measures 64 x 119.9 x 9.9 mm. Unlike the Lumia 530/535, Lumia 630/635 and Lumia 730/735, it comes with a dedicated camera button.
Currently, the 520 is available in stock online on Microsoft Store and Amazon, and may run out of stock soon. So hurry up if you have a plan to buy a budget Windows Phone this Green Monday!
