HTC pulled in a surprise today with the launch of the One M9+ in India instead of the HTC One M9 showcased at MWC in Barcelona last month. Along with the launch of the flagship, the Taiwanese manufacturer also launched the HTC One E9+, an upgrade of the E8, as well as a more affordable HTC Desire 326G dual sim.

The HTC One E9+ sports a 5.5 inch 2K display, a 20 MP primary camera capable of 4k recording. The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by the flagship MediaTek processor – the Helio X10 which is an octa-core chipset clocked at 2.2 GHz. This is further supported with a hefty 3GB of RAM along with 16GB internal memory expandable up to 2TB on microSDXC.

“The HTC One E9+, continues to build on HTC’s innovation and design, with a 2K 13.97 cm (5.5-inch) large display, 20 mega-pixel camera, HTC’s popular UltraPixel is now on the front-facing camera with tons of features, HTC BoomSound with Dolby Audio Surround and more, all this in a slim form factor. We are certain that this offering will delight many of our consumers”, said Mr. Faisal Siddiqui, President, HTC South Asia and India.
