New images of the Acer Iconia W3 have been leaked over the internet. The sources claim that this is the new 8-inch tablet from Acer that will soon make its way into the tablet market. The interesting point is that the tablet has an 8-inch display and is said to start a new revolution in the Windows tablet segment.
It was a French website that initially gave out posted the image on the internet. The website claims that this tablet is actually the Acer Iconia W3, Acer’s future 8-inch tablet that will run on Windows 8 operating system. The image has now been removed from the website and the reason for the same is that Acer requested them to do so.
The involvement of Acer in this case does not only indicate that the image could be legit, but it also means that there are some reasons why Acer does not want the tablet to get the publicity and attention that it would, if the image and post would have stayed online.
