Lenovo K900 is a groundbreaking premium device not only in the history of Lenovo, but also in the smartphone industry. The latest reports reveal that the 5.5-inch Lenovo K900 IdeaPhone will go for sale in China next month.
Back at CES 2013, Lenovo globally introduced its impressive Lenovo K900, but the company didn’t utter a single word about the pricing as well as public availability of the device during the event. World’s first Intel Clover Trail powered dual-core Lenovo K900 IdeaPhone was earlier rumored to hit the Chinese stores starting from April 17th, but there is no sign of the device yet in the Chinese markets. Rather, the latest updates on the Lenovo’s official Chinese Online Store have confirmed that K900 will arrive to China on May 6th.
Lenovo K900 is almost similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z and HTC One in terms of display resolution but has a larger display size than these devices. Accordingly, it features a 5.5-inch display along with the pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080 and pixel density of 440+ ppi.
Lenovo K900 IdeaPhone is powered by an Intel Clover Trail 2.0GHz dual-core processor, a 2GB of on board RAM and a 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via MicroSD card. It comes with a 6.9mm thin stainless steel body and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The phone packs a 13-megapixel camera at the back and also has a front-shooter camera. Alike the Sony Xperia Z, this main camera also features the Sony Exmor RS lens that captures images in good quality.
The IdeaPhone incorporates the Wireless Display support that enables users to connect the device directly to the television without using any wired connectivity. One of the unique specialty of this device is its superfast charging mode that fully charges the battery in just 90 minutes.
Lenovo K900 is all set to launch in China on May 6 and subsequently in Philippines in June this year. Unfortunately, there is still no official update about the pricing of the IdeaPhone in either of the countries, but it appears that the company will soon confirm the prices in the near future.
