T-Mobile has started rolling out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One S smartphone. The long awaited Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will finally be able to reach HTC One S consumers who have been waiting for the update.

HTC One S consumers who are on T-Mobile can update their devices from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to 4.1 Jelly Bean. They will finally be able to get all the new stuff that the Android Jelly Bean update will bring to them.

This new update roll out was not done all of a sudden, we already knew that T-Mobile was testing the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update with the HTC One S. And now that the tests are over, the carrier company has silently rolled out the update, eventually giving HTC One S consumers something to look forward.

If you happen to be a T-Mobile consumer and use the HTC One S, then you can go ahead and update your device. The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is live and consumers who want to download and install it will need a Wi-Fi connection. Let me tell you that the file size is about 675MB so I suggest you choose a very good Wi-Fi network or be ready to wait for a long time as the file is downloaded. Due to the big size of the update, it is not possible to update your devices over the air, you will have to use the Wi-Fi internet connection method in order to update your devices.

T-Mobile also said that the upgrade process is lengthy and might take somewhere between 10 to 20 minutes to be completed. As of now, we do not have the exact details about how and where the update is being rolled out, so if you want to check out whether the update is available for your device or not, the best way would be to check it out on your device directly.
