The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is the rugged version of the current Galaxy S4, and will be a dust proof and water resistant version of the standard Galaxy S4.

A new report from the Wall Street Journal says that there is a long list of Samsung smart devices that will be unveiled by the end of summer this year. The list includes a rugged version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 that is being called as Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and also a new 8-inch tablet.

We know that the list might be even bigger, but the above three smart devices interest us the most. Even out of these three devices, it is the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active that we want to know more about.

‘Samsung Galaxy S4 Active,’ remember this name because you might soon start panning to buy one. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, one of the smart devices in the list from Wall Street Journal is the rugged version of the current Galaxy S4. So as the name suggests, this new smartphone will be a dust proof and water resistant version of the standard Galaxy S4.

The next in line is the ‘Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.’ This is definitely not the first time that we have heard about the Galaxy S4 Mini and definitely will not be the last time as well. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will almost identical to what the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini was to the Galaxy S3. Galaxy S4 Mini will be a mid-segment smartphone that will be very similar to the Galaxy S4 in terms of specs, looks and features.

Finally we come to the 8-inch tablet. We believe that this new 8-inch will be the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 that has been in rumors since quite some time now. When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, there have been no official announcements from Samsung but we believe that the Galaxy Tab 3 will be next. It was said that this new tablet would be “adding to the 7-inch and 10.1-inch versions on the market.” And the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 models perfectly fit this description.

Samsung has big plans for summer this year, and if you are planning to buy a new smartphone or tablet, then we suggest that you wait till summer and check out what Samsung has to offer.
