Yes you read it correctly, the Google Nexus 11 tablet could be unveiled at the Google I/O event this year which will take place in the month of May. So even though Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie might not make it to the show, we definitely have something else to look out for – Google Nexus 11.

Latest reports indicate that Google might be ready to unveil the Google Nexus 11 tablet at the Google I/O event this year. The sources say that this new Nexus 11 tablet will be built by Samsung and will be marketed by Google as the Google Nexus 11.

Thanks to a leaked Samsung roadmap for the year 2013, we believe that the Nexus 11 will be unveiled at the Google I/O event this year. If you are already getting hyped because of this news, then there is a lot more that you still have to read, so calm down and continue.

This so called Nexus 11 built by Samsung will most probably be the successor to the Google Nexus 10, but will it be a major upgrade or just a normal boost in power and performance? I will leave that to your imagination for now, but I will definitely tell you about the possible specs that the Google Nexus 11 is expected to have.

The Nexus 11 will have an 11-inch Super PLS TFT LCD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The device will be powered by the popular Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor which is also present in the Samsung Galaxy S4. This Exynos 5 Octa 5410 chipset will have an ARM Cortex-A15 quad-core processor and an ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core processor.

The tablet will have an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The tablet is also expected to have a microSD card slot for storage expansion and will run on Android 4.3 by default.

I know that the Nexus 11 does sound kind of cool and exciting, but let me tell you once again that there has been no official announcement from Google and hence we request you to not jump to any conclusion. If you are interested in knowing more about this new tablet, then be sure to check back later as we will have a lot of new updates for you.
