We have some really interesting news for consumers who are interested in the HTC M4. Latest information on the HTC M4 indicates that the smartphone could just be a powered down, mini-version of the HTC One.
When we say powered down, mini-version of the HTC One, we do not want to say that the device will be weak and small. We believe that size does matter, but not always. And the same could be the case with respect to the HTC M4. Latest reports say that the HTC M4 will be a direct copy of the HTC M7 (HTC One as we now know it).
So one thing is for sure, the HTC M4 (which could also be named as the HTC One Mini) will definitely have a great design, will be super slim and will also be light in weight. It will most probably have most of the hardware and features imported directly from the HTC One. For example, it is believed that the HTC M4 will have the new Ultra pixel camera that is present on the HTC One.
So even though the HTC M4 is the ‘mini-version’ of the HTC One, we believe that the smartphone will be capable enough to make a name for itself once it is out in the market. And for that, you also need to know what will be present under the hood of this new smartphone.
The HTC M4 is expected to have a 4.3-inch touchscreen display. It will have a 720p resolution with almost the same pixel density as that of the HTC One. The device will have a 4 Ultra pixel primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. It will be powered by a dual-core processor, standard GPU and 2GB of RAM. The internal storage options available will be 16GB and 32GB, but we doubt if the device will have a microSD card support. It will also run on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
We expect this smartphone to be launched by the end of this year and when it does get unveiled, we also expect the device to be a part of the HTC One series of smartphones.
