Moto X (2015) leaks out with 5.2-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 808 SoC and more

The original Moto X was unveiled back in 2013, while its successor the 2014 Moto X was launched in September of 2014. Now a new report has emerged that claims that Motorola is all geared up to launch the device that is a significant upgrade compared to its predecessor.

The report claims that the next Moto X will get a 5.2-inch Quad-HD AMOLED display, a 16 MP camera along with a 5MP front camera. Powering the smartphone would be a Snapdragon 808 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and a 3280mAh battery. There will be 32GB and 64GB storage options and will run on the latest Android 5.1.1 OS with a few in-house software tweaks and features.

However, the above information does not come from an official source, so that readers are advised to take the information with a pinch of salt. The source of information has allegedly come from a Motorola insider who claims to know what the company is brewing with its next flagship.

Though Motorola’s President earlier did mention of a possible August or September release, and a 5 plus inch device that does suggest there might some amount of truth in these rumors. Moreover, as we know with flagships these days, rumors apparently turn out to be true.

Moreover, the fact that Motorola unveiled the 2014 Moto X in September last year, hence we can expect them to stick to the same pattern.
