It seems that Sony has been working on a new hybrid computer that runs on Windows 8 operating system and can be used as a notebook and a tablet. There have been leaked images and a blurry video which was posted on YouTube which showcase this new hybrid computer from Sony.
It seems that Sony is also interested in the hybrid computer market and is planning to come up with something unique and special. The leaked images and the blurry YouTube video which has now been made private, show us a notebook-tablet hybrid that looks very different from the currently existing devices from Sony.
The design of this new tablet is a little different that the designs that Sony has already launched in the market, for example the Sony Vaio Tap 20 all-in-one PC . This device is very different with respect to screen size as well, the new hybrid has a 13-inch display. As you can see in the image, this new 13-inch notebook-tablet hybrid acts as a 13-inch tablet that slides up to bring up a full notebook keyboard.
The YouTube video also said that the device is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and has 4 GB of RAM. Other important features include a 128 GB SSD, 5MP camera and 10 hours of battery life. It has also been said that this video is actually a part of a training film made for the Dixons UK retail store chain.
We have no information about how thick this device will be and how much it will weigh. This new hybrid definitely looks impressive and we even expect it to perform that way. We also look forward to getting some official updates about this new device from Sony. Sony must have plans to reveal some interesting information about this new device, so stay tuned.
