Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 will be coming with WXVGA (1280 x 800p) display, powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Exynos 4412 processor along with the ARM Mali 400 GPU.
The latest reports from the Dutch site TechTastic reveal that their sources have discovered the 8-inch tablet in the GLBecnhmark database. The tablet is carrying the model number SM-T311, which is believed to be the rumored Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 comprising 16GB of storage & WiFi only.
If you thought that this year Samsung will be only dealing with the high-end smartphones, then you are most probably wrong. Though the Korean giant seemed to be extremely busy with its high-end products like Galaxy S4 & Note 3, the company simultaneously announced its low-end 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 and is being working on its sibling. This new device is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and might hit the consumer market soon.
According to the leaked benchmark, the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 will be coming with WXVGA (1280 x 800p) display. It will be powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Exynos 4412 processor along with the ARM Mali 400 GPU. It is expected to run the latest version of Android 4.2.2 OS with most likely Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz interface.
Unfortunately, the other specifications are not mentioned in the benchmark listing, so we yet lack the further details about the tablet. On the basis of the previous rumors, we can guess that the tablet may sport a 3-megapixel primary & 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, MicroSD card slots, 2GB of on board RAM and a 4,500 mAh battery. It would have support for Wi-Fi, 4G/LTE (optional), DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro USB.
In order to find out the official specs of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0, we need to wait for Samsung to officially announce the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. We also expect Samsung to release this tab by the end of May or in June.
