Samsung tweeted a photo of the upcoming Iron Man Edition Galaxy S6 Edge handset's box following a global brand partnership with Marvel last summer.

If you are a fan of Tony Stark, you might want to start saving some as Samsung has announced that it is working on an Iron Man Edition of Galaxy S6 Edge. The Korean manufacturer did incite a chunk of Iron Man loyalists as it tweeted a photo of the upcoming handset’s box.

The image tweeted shows off glowing light from casting out from the edge of the box, along with a picture of the Iron Man’s mask gracing the front box cover, which is flanked by the phone’s branding on the left, while on the right is the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie logo. Above the box, are the words ‘Coming Soon’, though how soon still remains a mystery, so is its launch date and global availability.

Apparently, this is not the first time Samsung and Marvel have joined hands. Earlier, the two announced limited edition Avenger cases for the Galaxy Note 4. We already got a few images renders of the Avengers-themed Galaxy S6 a few months back. Hence, we can expect how awesome (gaudy for some) the final product might look like.

Samsung’s current flagship has already some rave reviews for its design and innovation, and going by the image renders, it seems the S6 Edge’s design language is custom-made for this kind of limited edition handsets. Hopefully, it does not stop at Iron Man; there’s a new Captain America movie coming out.

The Twitter teaser of the upcoming Iron Man themed handset does come with a disclaimer, clearly stating that the availability of the phone would “differ by region.” So it may not be launched in all markets after all. Other details like pricing and availability are yet to be revealed.
