LG Optimus F3 will be coming with a 4-inch multi-touch 800 x 480 WVGA display with pixel density of 223ppi. It will be powered by a dual-core CPU
One of the most popular and trusted sources on the internet, @evleaks has posted first images of the LG’s upcoming Optimus F3 for Sprint. Back in February at Mobile World Congress 2013, we got our first look at LG’s LTE-capable F-series devices named the Optimus F5 and F7. The device that wasn’t showcased in Barcelona was the budget-friendly LG Optimus F3, but now its images have hit the web.
The latest leaked shots clearly show that LG Optimus F3 is a 4-inch rectangular smartphone with curved edges. The device imprints LS720 as its model name, and it may be headed to Sprint as discovered by @evleaks in a render of the device showing Sprint branding.
PhoneArena has released the details of the leak which delivers reliable impression of F3, but we can’t jump to conclusions so soon until we can check out the device for real. Apparently, LG Optimus F3 is aimed at those smartphone buyers who don’t want to invest a lot in a smartphone. So, we think F3 won’t be at the top of the F-series lineup, but it would be an impressive phone for the budget-conscious buyers.
According to the released details, the LG Optimus F3 will be coming with a 4-inch multi-touch WVGA display having screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and pixel density of 223ppi. It will be powered by a dual-core CPU (no details on speed & type of processor is revealed yet) and a 2460mAH battery.
The phone will sport camera, MicroUSB, USB 2.0 and will also have support for Wi-Fi, GPS & Bluetooth connectivity. It is expected to run the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
Sadly, we still lack the further details dealing with pricing & availability of the LG Optimus F3, but we expect that the South Korean mobile giant will confirm these details soon in the near future. Stay tuned as we try to gather more information on the device.
