Die-hard lovers can be thankful to Google for the latter’s generosity in slashing $50 off the regular price of the latest Nexus phones. The occasion is Valentine’s Day and the discount comes on the back of another $30 price cut that the Nexus smartphone benefitted from just weeks ago.

As things stand right now, one can pick up a Nexus 5X for as low as just $299. This applies to the unlocked 16 GB model, which means no carrier obligations to pay heed to. The same with 32 GB of onboard storage will now cost $349. Both the models earlier retailed for $379 and $429 respectively.

What is, even more, exciting is that the price adjustment applies to the latest Nexus 6P as well. The smartphone with the gold matte finish is now available for $449 and $499 for the 32 GB and 64 GB versions respectively. Without the price adjustment, the same would have cost $499 and $549 respectively.

That is not all for there is also a $50 discount to be availed of on a Huawei Watch for those picking up a Nexus 6P in any color. Plus, there is also a free case accompanying the Nexus 5X as well.

One will have to hurry though if the above sound enticing enough since it is a limited period offer as part of Valentine’s Day promotion.

Also, if anyone needs more reasons to go for the Nexus 6P, well there are plenty. The smartphone is the latest in the Nexus series and comes with some pretty solid hardware specifications. This includes a 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip and Adreno 430 GPU coupled to a 3 GB of RAM. Upfront is a 5.7-inch 2560 x 1440 resolution AMOLED display that makes for an eye-popping pixel density of 518ppi. Another great aspect of the Nexus 6P is its battery which at 3450 mAh not only lasts quite long but also charges itself pretty quickly.

Add to that the 8 and 12.3-megapixel front and rear shooter and the Nexus 6P does make a really alluring buy.

As for the Nexus 5X, the smartphone continues to appeal with its Snapdragon 808 chip and 2GB of RAM. While the device lacked from a not so decent battery life while the cameras too leave some more to be desired, it still is a solid buy especially considering the price cut it has been provided with.

Both the phones run the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which has gone for some rave reviews.
