Consumers using Microsoft Windows RT devices already know that Microsoft has confirmed that the company will launch a Microsoft Outlook 2013 RT client later this year. This RT client will be a part of the free Windows 8.1 upgrade, and we now have some new update about the same.
The official Microsoft Office blog has given out some more information about what Windows RT consumers can expect from the new Outlook 2013 RT program. The blog stated that: ‘Outlook 2013 RT delivers a great touch experience for people using tablets.’ Microsoft did not give out a lot of information about the look and feel, and the user interface that will be present in it. Consumers would want to know whether this new Outlook 2013 RT will have a modern style interface or if it will use a UI similar to the desktop version of Office 2013.
The Microsoft Office blog stated:
‘The new Outlook has so much to offer including a streamlined user experience that reduces clutter and makes your content king. From cool new features like quickly responding to email with inline reply, to using ‘peeks’ to view your calendar or contacts without having to manually switch between tabs, Outlook brings great new tools to your fingertips.’
For those consumers who love to use Microsoft Office 2013 or any other version, there is some interesting news for you. The Office blog has also stated that a majority of consumers who buy a new tablet consider ‘’Microsoft Office’ to be the “single most important software feature” on the device.
