Retail giants Staples and Amazon have started taking pre-orders for the Acer Iconia W3. Staples is offering the 32GB version of the Acer Iconia W3 whereas Amazon is offering both the 32GB and 64GB versions.
The Acer Iconia W3 is the first 8-inch tablet to feature Microsoft Windows 8 Pro, and was officially announced by the company a few days back. The tablet has an impressive hardware configuration and offers you a full Windows 8 experience on its 8-inch LCD display.
Staples has started taking pre-orders for this tablet and is offering the 32GB version for a price of $379.99. The company also said that consumers who pre-order the tablet on or before the 14th of June will get the tablet delivered as soon as possible, as it will be shipped between the 15th and 17th of June. Staples ensures that the shipment will be delivered within 1 to 3 business days.
On the other hand, Amazon is offering the 32GB and 64GB version of the Acer Iconia W3. Similar to Staples, Amazon is offering the 32GB version for a price of $379.99 and the 64GB version has been priced at $429.99. Amazon has not given any specific details regarding shipping time, but you can rest assured that you will not be disappointed with the service.
The Acer Iconia W3 is said to be the first 8-inch tablet that runs on Windows 8 Pro OS. The device has an 8-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and pixel density of 186ppi.
