Dell has unveiled refreshed Alienware gaming notebooks which pack in more power, more performance and have a new look as if they do not belong to our planet

Dell has unveiled refreshed Alienware gaming notebooks which pack in more power, more performance and also have a new look and new naming scheme. Dell has unveiled three new gaming laptops in the Alienware series, each of them with a different screen size.

The names of these three gaming notebooks are Alienware 14, Alienware 17 and Alienware 18 – simple and straight forward. But don’t let these simple names deceive you, because these notebooks have some extremely complex interior and some really amazing exterior. Alienware 14, 17 and 18 not only look as if they do not belong to our planet but also perform the same way.

Each of these machines have new Haswell processors, latest NVIDIA graphic cards and some of these models also come with 802.11ac. You even get to customize your Alienware notebook with the configuration you want, depending upon you choice or budget. Another interesting and new feature on these notebooks is that they are not made of plastic anymore. This time Dell has used metal chassis with an aluminum lid and magnesium alloy chassis for the body part. There are a lot of LEDs that light up these spaceships, and the touchpad lights up fully giving you the unique experience that no other system does.

The Alienware logo is present as and where it should be, but this time you will be able to customize the color in which it glows. In addition to this, you can also customize the color of keyboard and other areas on the device that have lights and LEDs. And for an improved sound experience, Dell has also added Klipsch speakers with Dolby Audio Theater.

Clearly, Dell has made a lot of improvements and enhancements on these machines which add to the power, performance, uniqueness and value. After all this, if you are still expecting these notebooks to be slimmer and lighter, than that is something your money can’t buy right now. There have been no significant improvements to the weight and dimensions of the machines, but that will hardly matter for Alienware fans and customers.
