Bug in the new EarPods
This has affected almost every iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus owners. The bug in the new lightning EarPods results in non-functioning in-line remote controls. This is not a consistent issue and occurs randomly when a user plugs in the new generation headphones into the lightning port. The problem arises while using the EarPods for a few minutes, after which the in-line remote buttons turn unresponsive leaving the user unable to change the volume level, switch music tracks, use Siri or receive calls. Luckily, Apple has admitted the glitch and has assured to fix it as early as possible.
‘No Service’ after switching off Airplane Mode
Various iPhone 7 users from across the globe are experiencing this problem. The handsets plagued by the issue are facing the loss of cellular networks after switching back from the Airplane mode. As of now, there is no permanent solution to this ‘No Service’ error. The Cupertino giant has recommended the affected users to restart their handsets or remove and re-insert the SIM card. This will solve the problem temporarily till the company comes up with a way out.
Strange hissing sound
A handful of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus owners have come up with a strange problem. They claim that their brand new smartphone is emitting a weird hissing sound. This seems to originate from the back of the handset somewhat near the Apple logo. Some speculations suggest that this may be because of the immense processing power of the device while other wants to believe this to be some manufacturing defect. So far, the iPhone-maker has not mentioned anything about the issue.

Jet Black variant vulnerable to scratches
The new color scheme may be a pleasure to the eyes, but they are rapidly losing their appeal just within a few days of usage. The Jet Black variants of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are getting scratched very easily. Apple has officially acknowledged the issue and has been advising the owners to use a protective cover.
Inferior battery life
Some iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus owners are complaining of sub-standard battery backup of their smartphones. While it is true that the new generation iPhones do not come with notable battery life improvements, it is certainly better than the previous iPhone 6S line-up. The people who are thinking that their latest iPhone sports inferior battery life has used the smartphone for just for a day or two. As with every new phone, the first couple of days are the busiest when new apps are loaded, and various user data are synchronized. It is because of this; the brand new iPhones are running out of juice pretty fast, and things will be normal as soon as all the initial set-ups are over.
