It’s not rocket science that companies or retailers are at their generous best, doling out discounts on almost everything on Black Friday. And, No wonder ardent gaming enthusiasts look forward to this day to catch up with the latest developments from the game manufacturers.
And there are plenty to get excited with as well what with Microsoft and Sony wooing fans with their best offerings.
Xbox One Black Friday 2016 vs PS4 Black Friday 2016 Deals
To help you get started, there are some lucrative deals for gaming consoles as well. So those still holding on to their old Xbox or PlayStation units do have a good reason to explore the deals currently available. For instance, Best Buy Black Friday 2016 offering is a flat $50 discount on any Xbox One bundle. The same also applies to Sony’s offering as well with the PlayStation 4 Console Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Bundle now costing $249.99, which is $50 less from the usual $299.99.
Xbox One and PlayStation 4 controllers too have been provided a price adjustment, with both now selling for $39.99, down from $59.99.
Microsoft has also slashed prices of some Xbox One S consoles by $50, besides also including a $25 gift card and a free game offer in the bundle. The Redmond giant is also offering the Xbox One Wireless Controller for $39.99 down from $59.99 while the Xbox One Wireless Controller with Play and Charge Kit is now selling for $39.99, down from $74.99.
Walmart has also stated it is slashing Xbox One S and PlayStation 4 Slim console prices by $50. That makes the Xbox One S White 500 GB Battlefield bundle to be priced at $249 (usually $299). Similarly, the PlayStation 4 Slim Uncharted 4 500 GB bundle together with a $30 gift card now priced at $249 (usually $299).
Meanwhile, Walmart is also selling the Xbox One and PS4 controllers for $39, down from $59.
These apart, Sony has already announced there is a 70% discount applicable on games from the PlayStation Store. The titles range from the classics to even the more modern and best-selling ones as well. For PlayStation Plus subscribers, the deal has been further sweetened by offering a hefty 80% discount.
The Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy which retails for $24.99 can now be availed of for $14.99. Similarly, the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Gold Edition that is priced at $49.99 and $69.99 is now selling for $14.99 and $23.99 respectively.
This is also the time to stock up on some of the most pricey titles as well. Take for instance the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – Digital Pro Edition that usually sells for $99.99 but can now be picked up for $58.99 or $48.99 for PS Plus subscribers.
Similarly, the NHL 17 Deluxe Edition (Post Launch) or NHL 17 Super Deluxe Edition (Post Launch) that usually sells for $79.99 or $99.99 is now selling for $47.99 and $59.99 respectively.
Or the Grand Theft Auto V that has its price slashed to $29.99 from the usual $59.99. Same is the case with Grand Theft Auto V & Great White Shark Cash Card Bundle that is now available for $37.99, down from $75.99.
Not to be left behind, Microsoft too is all set to join the race though the deal won’t be revealed before Nov. 22. Xbox guru Larry Hryb has let it known there is going to be a 40% discount on 250 Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC games.
The party begins a bit earlier for Xbox Live Gold subscribers who will have access to the deal starting Nov. 18. That is not all as those aspiring to join the Xbox Live Gold league will have to pay just $1. The offer though is valid till Nov. 28 only.
Other Xbox One titles attracting the most discounts include Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Gold Edition that will have a discount of around 60%.
