AT&T has officially announced its new plans for GoPhone that will now shift consumers to the much better and faster 4G LTE network. AT&T has scrapped many of its older plans and has come up with new ones that use 4G LTE network. These new prepaid plans will start from 21st of June.
With the new prepaid plans for GoPhone, AT&T consumers will now have a new set of options to choose from. AT&T has come up with three tiers of prepaid plans, which will replace the old ones since they were too complicated as mentioned by the company. The good part is that prepaid consumers who have compatible phones can opt for any of these plans. These new GoPhone plans start from $25 a month to $60 a month.
If you opt for the $25 a month plan, you get 250 minutes of nationwide calling and unlimited text messages. You can also get a data package of 50MB for an additional cost of $5. If you opt for the $40 a month plan, you get 500 minutes of nationwide calling, unlimited text messages and 200MB of data. You can also get an additional data package of 100MB for $5.
If you opt for the $60 a month plan, you get unlimited nationwide calling, unlimited text messages and 2GB of data. You can also get an additional data package of 1GB for $10.
So there you have it, the three new prepaid options for GoPhone that consumers can choose from. And for all its new costumers, AT&T will be offering the Samsung Galaxy Express smartphone that has been priced at $250. So you can either choose to buy this device or get your own 4G enabled smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy Express will have a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display and will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Other important features include 8GB of internal storage, microSD card support up to 32GB, 5MP primary camera and a 1.3MP secondary camera.
