Possible hardware specifications of the Motorola X Phone have been leaked on the Internet. These specs were given out by the popular source Evleaks, one of the most reputed sources when it comes to leak and pre-release information about smartphones and tablets.

The Motorola X Phone (or the Google X Phone as some like to call it) is one of the most anticipated smartphones of this year. Motorola fans and smartphone consumers around the world have been eagerly waiting to check out this new smartphone. And thanks to the information provided by Evleaks, we now have an idea about what the X Phone could have under the hood.

According to the information provided, the Motorola X Phone will be powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T processor, dedicated GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device will have a display resolution of 720p and 16GB of internal storage space. The Motorola X Phone will also have a 10MP high performance primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. The device will run on the latest version of Android, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, but we would not be surprised if Google and Motorola launch this device with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean onboard.

So many of the important specs have been revealed by Evleaks, but we still do not have any info about the GPU that will be present on this device and the screen size. Hopefully there will be some more info revealed about the X Phone soon, and when it does, we will update you about the same immediately.

Instead of opting for a quad-core processor and 1080p display, Google and Motorola seem to have opted for a dual-core processor and a 720p display. In a way, this will drastically reduce power consumption, since the X Phone uses a dual-core processor and also has to push lesser pixels since it has a 720p display instead of 1080p.

So we assume that the X Phone might be a mid-segment smartphone with a lot of battery backup, which will attract a significant amount of consumers. At the same time, most of the consumers who are in love with high end maxed out smartphones will be disappointed with the specs that the X Phone might have.
