Image and Specs of the Sony i1 Honami cameraphone leaked

Recently, an image and hardware specifications of the Sony i1 Honami cameraphone have been leaked on the Internet. The Sony i1 Honami is expected to be a high-end smartphone equipped with a full HD display and Cybershot-quality camera.

The Sony i1 Honami cameraphone will compete against high-end cameraphones like the soon to come Nokia Lumia EOS and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom that has already been officially announced by Samsung. With the Sony i1 Honami, Sony plans to not only enter the cameraphone market, but also rule it by giving the best device that consumers can buy.

It is being said that this is the first true Sony device that has been designed with CEO Kaz Hirai’s strategy in mind. This strategy focuses on converging the best Sony has to offer in its mobile gear, meaning that the Sony i1 Honami might actually be the ‘best of Sony in a smartphone.’ And with the specs list available, it is quite possible that the Sony i1 Honami will be able to achieve the goals and targets that Sony has in mind.

The Sony i1 Honami is a cameraphone with a 5-inch Triluminos display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device has a Contrast Ratio of 2000:1 and also contains the X-Reality Engine from Sony. The device will be powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8974 processor, Adreno 330 GPU and will have 2GB of RAM. It will also have 32GB of internal storage along with microSD card support that will facilitate storage expansion.

The most interesting feature on the Sony i1 Honami is its camera. The device has a 2/3″ 20/13 MP Exmor RS camera with Sony G lens, Cybershot Camera UI, Camera shutter key and Interchangeable lenses. The device also has Xenon + Dual LED Flash and Mobile BIONZ Image processing which will add to the overall quality and performance. The device also has a 2.2MP 1080p Exmor R front camera.

Other important features include Bluetooth 4.0, Dual Stereo speakers, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 4G LTE, NFC, Shatter proof glass, IP 55/58 dust, water and shock resistance and a 3000mAh battery with improved battery STAMINA mode.

With specs like these, the Sony i1 Honami might very well be the dream phone that every high-end smartphone consumer has been waiting for. As of now, it is too early to conclude whether the Sony i1 Honami could actually be the dream device that you have been waiting for. It would be better to wait for Sony to make an official announcement or at least shed some light on this topic.
