Samsung ATIV Q

Samsung has officially unveiled yet another innovative tablet which can run two operating system at one time – the Samsung ATIV Q. The Samsung ATIV Q is one of the latest high-end tablets announced by the company and runs Android as well as Windows 8.

The Samsung ATIV Q is no ordinary tablet; so don’t judge it simply by its outer looks. The fun part lies on the inside, where the company has applied most of the innovation. One of the most interesting feature about this tablet is that it can run on Windows 8 and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, that too at the same time. You don’t even have to reboot the device in order to switch the OS. And you can even run all your legacy Windows software on the device since it runs on a full fletched version of Windows 8.

The Samsung ATIV Q tablet has a 13.3-inch display with a display resolution of 3200×1800 pixels, making this tablet one of the best in class when it comes to display clarity. The tablet is powered by an Intel Core i5 (Haswell) processor, Intel HD Graphics 4400 and has 4GB of RAM. This is definitely one high-end hardware configuration for a 13-inch tablet, and we are eager to check out the results of the performance test.

In spite of having such a powerful processing system, the Samsung ATIV Q is expected to give a battery backup of 9 hours and storage space options go all the way up to 256GB, on a solid state drive. The body of the tablet has been made out of magnesium, and it also comes along with a built-in QWERTY keyboard and features the Samsung S Pen as well.

The Samsung ATIV Q weighs about 1.3 kg and has a thickness of 13.9 mm. And if you are interested in buying this device, you will have to wait for some time because we are still missing out on two very important details. Samsung has not yet officially announced the price and release date.
