Apple could be up to something new and interesting. May be, we finally will get to see the iPhone-iWatch pair come to existence very soon.
According to a recent report from Bloomberg, Apple has filed a patent application for the Apple iWatch that has been in rumors ever since the New Year began. If you were still having a doubt about whether Apple has a new smart watch in pipeline, it is time to re-consider.
Apple is expected to unveil a number of new devices this year, which include flagship devices like the Apple iPhone 5, Apple iPad Mini 2 and many more. One such device also happens to be the Apple iWatch. A recent report said that Apple wants to trademark iWatch in Japan, and earlier we have even heard about Apple filing for the iWatch trademark in Russia.
Given that both these reports are correct, it does mean that Apple could be up to something new and interesting. May be, we finally will get to see the iPhone-iWatch pair come to existence, but we still can’t say anything for sure. Applying for a trademark is a positive sign, but it doesn’t mean that Apple is ready with the device or has plans to start offering the same very soon.
In today’s world of smartphones, consumers greatly appreciate new and innovative products, products that improve user experience and bring something new to the table. The best examples of this would be the response given by consumers to products like the Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and Sony Xperia Z.
In spite of launching these next-gen smartphones, we have only seen Sony come up with a Smartwatch that consumers would want to use. Apple now has the opportunity to come back with a bang, since the company still hasn’t unveiled its next-gen iPhone. We believe that the best way to do so, would be to unveil the iWatch along with it.
