According to the latest report from WPCentral, the Nokia Lumia 1020 will be priced at $602 for retailers and will be available in different colors namely black, white and yellow.
The website claims to have learnt this information from an insider in a Microsoft Store, which also confirms the final name of much talked Nokia EOS as Nokia Lumia 1020. As of now, it’s difficult to predict if the Nokia Lumia 1020 will be exclusive to AT&T or not, but it is confirmed that it will be available for the AT&T network.
The leaked screenshot suggest that Nokia will start distributing it to the retailers from July 22nd, and in fact there are good chances that Nokia may officially unveil the smartphone on July 11th. If this information proves to be true, customers may be able to buy the device from the first week of August, or maybe a little earlier.
Interestingly, the particular store will be getting a total of only 70 Nokia Lumia 1020 units, a number which is way lesser than the number of consumers that might visit the store in order to buy the device.
If retailers will get the Nokia Lumia 1020 for $602 then certainly consumers will have to a bit ‘higher’ price to grab the device. Anyway, the Finnish mobile manufacturer is expected to unveil the new 41-megapixel Lumia during the Zoom Reinvented event which is going to be held in New York on July 11th at 11am EDT.
