There have been rumors that Apple would be willing to launch a cheaper version of iPhone. Today, the story took yet another turn as Techdy published few photos and a hands-on video of the budget iPhone, which looks amazingly real.

According to the website, the budget iPhone will be made of polycarbonate material and will have a 4-inch display, similar to the iPhone 5. However, the shape and size of the device looks similar to Apple’s original iPod. Despite of the plastic housing, the budget iPhone doesn’t feel cheap, the website claims. The device shown by Techdy looks similar to the leaked shells of cheap iPhone few days before.

Interestingly, Techdy claims to have an Android version of budget iPhone called Basic Bear, which will be available for sale for just $199 in September. Basic Bear features a 4-inch display, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and will be available in white, green and pink colors.

Despite of the high quality pictures and detailed information, we are far from the certainty whether the budget Apple iPhone exists or not. Until now, Apple has pronounced more than once against a “Cheap” iPhone. However, Apple is known for its deceptive statements as the Company never wanted to build a smaller iPad. In fact, it was introduced last year. Perhaps, we will learn whether the Cupertino is working on such model or not by autumn.

Does the budget iPhone exist? All We’ll have to wait and see, but it’s certainly an interesting proposition. What do you think? Let us know in comment section below.
