The much awaited Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for HTC One has started rolling out in Europe. The update weighs 417MB in size and is being rolled out in stages. Currently 4G LTE version of HTC flagship is receiving the update, while 3G version will follow later.

Alongside Jelly Bean, the handset will get new AE/AF lock enhancements in the camera/gallery for exposure and focus on the viewfinder screen, Quick Settings that can be easily implemented by a new touch gesture, rearrangement of the widget panel, new Lock Screen style widget, enhanced behavior of the Home button and launcher bar enhancement. Furthermore, the update finally shows the battery level in the status bar.

Additionally, HTC has integrated Instagram to Blinkfeed, a new gesture to Google Now, 6 new themes for Video Highlight and new Zoe file format for better file management.

The Android 4.2.2 update was first spotted in Taiwan, and so far HTC One owners in Russia, Denmark, Georgia, Norway, Sweden, Romania, Serbia, UK and Finland claim to have received the update. As per reports, the smartphone gets a decent performance boost and several bugs fixes after installing the update.
