Recently, leaked images and a video showcasing the LG Optimus G2 aka LG G2 have been posted by Engadget. The images give out a number of details about the design and specs of LG Optimus G2, the company’s soon to be announced flagship device.
According to the information available from the leak, the LG Optimus G2 will have a 5.2-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The device will be powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and will have 2GB of RAM which was rumored 3GB initially. There is no information available about the GPU as of now, but we suspect that it will either be an Adreno 330 or PowerVR SGX 544MP3.
One of the most interesting facts about the LG Optimus G2 is that it has an incredibly small bezel. Additionally, the device has a very thin design, which will surely make it one of the most advanced and sought after smartphones in the market. The Optimus G2 does look a lot like the original Optimus G, but it has a round design and will definitely be much better than its predecessor in terms of power, performance and quality.
Another point that will garb your attention is that the LG Optimus G2 has rear volume controls, which are one of a kind and will add to the uniqueness of the device. Coming back to the specs, the device will have a high performance 13.0 megapixel primary camera and a 2.0 megapixel secondary camera.
The LG Optimus G2 showcased here seems to be running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and will have LG’s own UI on top of it. The device features on-screen slim and thin buttons. The source also told Engadget that the Optimus G2 would be thinner than the Nexus 4 and “very comfortable” to use.
