Use Sense 5 and AOSP on HTC One using MoDaCo SWITCH

A great news for HTC One consumers! A new app called MoDaCo SWITCH is underdevelopment — that allows HTC One consumers to have two ROMs on their smartphone and switch between them as and when they like.

HTC One consumers are in for a big treat, thanks to MoDaCo SWITCH app by Android developer Paul O’Brien. This app allows consumers to use the HTC One with Sense 5 as well as run the stock version of Android offered by the Google Edition HTC One. The best part is that the app works on both variants of the device, meaning that regular HTC One consumers can get the stock Android experience and Google Edition HTC One consumers can get the Sense 5 experience.

In doing so, you do not have to make any kind of compromise as you can revert back to the ROM of your choice any time you want. You will never be running both the ROMs at the same time, they will just be sitting on your smartphone’s storage and only one of them will be running at a time. Therefore you don’t really have to worry about battery consumption or slowing down the smartphone.

MoDaCo SWITCH is an innovative app that lets consumers choose the ROM they want to use, all you have to do is launch the app and choose the ROM you want to boot into. No matter which ROM you select, you will always be able to access all your apps and data on the device as all of that is stored in a central environment.

A few days ago, Google started offering the unsubsidized Google Edition HTC One that’s priced at $599 and runs on stock Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. On the other hand, the HTC One smartphone is also offered by carrier companies for a subsidized price that starts from $49.99. Consumers will now be able to freely choose the variant of HTC One they want using MoDaCo SWITCH, knowing that they can always have the experience they want.
